The Source Pane displays the original images in the camera or folder that you have connected to PhotoDocs. You can copy images from the Source to the Workspace, and process the copies. These original images will not be modified as you work in PhotoDocs. In the PhotoDocs options, you can choose whether to delete or move the images from the original source once you have stored the documents.
Note: The Source Pane does not appear when PhotoDocs is launched in reprocessing mode.
Bringing Images into the Source Pane
Depending on how you opened PhotoDocs and which automated capture options you have selected in the Options dialog box, the Source pane may be blank when you first open PhotoDocs, or images from a camera or folder may have automatically loaded into it. You can select or change the source of original images.
